Graduating THIS semester? CLICK HERE!
Are you looking for the other Catholic Young Adults in Baton Rouge or just want some more community and friendship?
The CTK Graduates is a group for Young Adults (22-35 years old) who have graduated, are currently earning a higher degree, or in the workforce.
(Undergraduate seniors in their graduating semester may join early to aid with the transition after graduation)
We communicate mostly via GroupMe and somethimes through the Facebook Group below as well:
There is a weekly FRIDAY SOCIAL HOUR with no agenda, just a space to make friends and socialize.
It begins 5:30pm in the Adoration Chapel at Christ the King and continues with a walk over to the Chimes rooftop around 6pm for some socializing.
Come for the whole thing or just stop by for a few minutes!
Once a month there is a Potluck & Prayer night where young adults can come together, make new friends, have dinner, and pray together.
Spring 2020 Dates
Graduates are encouraged to bring a dish to share or a donation to aid with the pre-purchase of drinks for the night.
Meet in the Adoration Chapel at 5:30pm and leave dishes in the Activity Center for dinner at 6pm
Once a year we put on the CTK SENIOR RETREAT for undergraduate seniors to share with them about transitioning into the workforce/grad school and maintaining a healthy faith life.
More information will be coming closer to the Spring Semester!
There is an amazing diocesan group called Red Stick Catholics that also provide monthly and other occasional events such as Theology on Tap, Trivia Nights, and Service opportunities for the formation of Young Adults in the Diocese. Here is their Facebook Group & website:
